If you’re lookin’ for the latest goss on Spencer and Heidi, you won’t find it at E! Online. Ever. After giving its readers the opportunity to banish the couple from the site, editors have announced that they’ll be steering clear of all things Speidi-related from now ’til the end of time. Supposedly. Read their rationale below, then let us know whether you think they’ll actually enforce this so-called Speidi-Free Zone.

“A startling 94 percent of you elected for the Hills stars’ immediate expulsion. Consider them gone from our wheelhouse, voted off the island, fired, out and any other appropriate reality-show catchphrase … Barring any actual news (e.g., she gets knocked up, he falls off a cliff or—heaven help us—her album goes to No. 1), consider this their very last post.”

SIDENOTE: With Speidi gone, E! will have plenty o’ time to cover “real” news! And from the looks of it, change is already afoot. Since the ban (EOD yesterday), we’ve already counted three posts on Jon & Kate Gosselin, one on Megan Fox’s tattoo collection and a groundbreaking exclusive on Lindsay Lohan’s next scheduled dip in the pool. Sheez, anyone else ready for something softer?

Not that it would be the first time, but it looks like Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have played America - and the press - like a tune.

Having quit I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here multiple times, and having threatened to sue the show after their "final" departure - the gruesome twosome from The Hills is headed back to the show's Costa Rica set as we speak.

Flyin' first class like a true pimp and his high-class ho, natch.

Not that we should be surprised. We are fools if we believe Spencer and Heidi would ever turn their back on attention, or do anything without being calculating.

After all, any publicity is good publicity, especially when you are a couple of dingbats who are famous simply for being famous and generating publicity ... some of which is just you bragging about how famous you are.

It's Speidi's world. We just write about it.

They try to leave, but some unseen force keeps bring them back.

No, this isn't Lost we're talking about. It's I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. And this isn't the Oceanic Six, it's Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.

After several attempts to bail on the reality show, and after leaving "for good" on June 8, the gruesome twosome is returning to the show again.

Not to compete, however. The Hills newlyweds will join the entire cast of the NBC reality series on the June 25 season finale. Mark your calendars.

We're sure they will be welcomed back with open arms. All we can do is pray ... for another Al Roker interview with them after the episode airs.

The last time the Pratts were in Costa Rica, Heidi was rushed to the hospital to be treated for an ulcer after spending a night in the "Lost Chamber."

When they return to the show, they'll be joined by Heidi's sister, Holly Montag, who replaced Speidi on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here last week.

After the massive fracas surrounding their supposed torture on “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here” earlier this month, it seems unthinkable that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt would even consider going back to the Costa Rican jungle.

But that’s exactly what they’re doing! According to a report, the “Hills” hotties are making a triumphant return to the NBC reality show for its finale on June 25th.

When they were last seen in the jungle, Heidi had to be rushed to the hospital for a gastric ulcer she developed by being kept in the Lost Chamber for an extended period of time.

And the reunion will be a family affair- Heidi’s sister Holly Montag will also join them, as she made her debut on the show last week.
